After Kishan was out of the first match of the Duleep Trophy tournament, he suddenly got a place in the second match and he did not let go of this opportunity. Left-handed batter Ishan completed his seventh century of first-class career at a strike rate of 88. If Kishan continues in this form, he may get a chance in the T20 series against Bangladesh.

Kishan Got Good Support From Indrajit

Last month, Kishan made a brilliant comeback to red-ball cricket through the Buchi Babu tournament with a strong century. He scored 111 runs in 126 balls with the help of 14 fours and three sixes. During this inning, he got good support from Baba Indrajit, who scored 78 runs in 136 balls. Both the players shared a partnership of 189 runs for the fourth wicket.

I Didn’t Get A Chance In The First Round

Ishan did not get a chance in the first round of the Duleep Trophy after suffering a back injury during the Buchi Babu tournament. Wicketkeeper batter Sanju Samson was given a place in his place. Last week, the BCCI had to make changes in the Duleep Trophy teams, as the players selected for the Test team against Bangladesh had to leave the camp. Although Kishan’s name was not there even in the media release issued by the BCCI later, but Ishan’s name was in the playing eleven of India C in the second round of the tournament.
