Witnessing the rising competition in the smartphone market in India, Oppo is planning to launch its all new Reno 14 Series in India. The same line-up had been unveiled in China in May. The new phone would be up for sale on Amazon And Flipkart in the country. The Indian version of the phone would supposedly be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8450 chip. Beyond that the 50 MP main camera and the AI powered tools would further add to the phone’s prowess to function well.
The Pro variant would be equipped with a 6200 mAh battery. The phone would finally break cover on July 3, Tech Launch would take place virtually and would be live streamed through Oppo’s Social Media accounts at 12PM IST. The brand has been teasing the arrival of the new phone through their posts on Twitter and a microsite on its website.
Oppo Reno 15 Specifications
Similar to that of the Chinese Counterpart, the Indian version of the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G would feature a quad camera setup that would include a 50MP OV50E 1.55-inch sensor with optical image stabilization. 50 Megapixel OV50D sensor, 50 Megapixel Telephoto camera with 3.5 x optical Zoom and a 50 Megapixel Ultra Wide-Angle camera.
The Oppo Reno 14 would be powered powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8450 chipset and it would house a 6,200 mAh battery with the support of 80W wired fast charging and a 50W wireless charging.
The Other variant of the phone would be equipped with a triple camera setup, that would include a 50 MP Sony IMX883 sensor with a 19.5 inch um Pixel Size and OIS support and an 8- Megapixel Ultra Wide Lens and a 50MP telephoto sensor. Both the phones would feature a 5 Megapixel JN5 front camera with auto focus capabilities. Going with the ongoing tradition of equipping phones with AI based features the phone would comprise Voice Enhancer, AI editor 2.0, AI Recompose, AI perfect Shot, Ai Style Transfer and Ai Live Photo 2.0 among others.
Prices of Both the Variants
Oppo has not revealed the prices yet, but media reports have iterated that the prices of the Indian version would align with those of the Chinese variants. The Oppo Reno 14 5G was launched in China in May, with a price of CNY 2,799- roughly around Rs 33,200 for the 12 Gb RAM, + 256 Gb storage model, while the Reno 14 Pro 5G has been priced at CNY 3,499, and would be priced around Rs 41,500 with the base 12 GB RAM + 256 Storage Option. Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 14 series in the global markets at 6PM. On July 1.
