iPhone 17s Screen To Be Scratch Prone?

In a Previous update it was revealed, that Apple might be considering adding a scratch resistant layer to their new iPhone 17 pro models.  It was a Weibo leaker Instant Digital who had revealed that Apple was working on a new anti reflective display layer. That could have been more scratch resistant than the ceramic shield. Beyond the updates we heard that Apple had plans to use the anti-reflective coating  for the higher end iPhone 17 pro and the iPhone 17 Pro max models. This could have made the phones the first iPhone with anti -reflective display.

After the conclusive plans to equip the phone with the scratch resistant film, Apple ran into issues while scaling up the display coating issue and hence it has now no tangible plans to offer the new iPhones with anti reflective coating. The reports further detailed that the coating process could have slowed the production process down and hence it was cancelled.

The phones would still be shipped with the Current fingerprint resistant oleophobic coating, but Apple Would not be focusing heavily on anti reflective technology. The Mac’s and iPad Pro have been offered with Nano Texture that cuts down the glare while the devices are being used. No such features would be brought to the iPhone now , it seems that the plans for the anti reflective coating have been scrapped completely.
