Apple resists to take a exodus from the limelight, after the launch of the new Macbook, ipad Air, Apple’s new foldable have now become the subject of high anticipation. The phone would possibly arrive near the end of 2026. Or early 2027 as per a a recent leak. Beyond the pre-emptive release date, the Leak has also confirmed that the Phone would have a book-style design and a premium price tag of around $2,000. A recent leak by Analyst Ming Chi- Kuo has revealed all of these details that we have prescribed above. Kuo has outlined the expectations from the device, and noted that the phone would have a 7.8-inch crease-free inner display and a 5.5-inch outer display as well.
As per Kuo, the Foldable would measure between 9 and 9.5 mm when folded, and around 4.5 to 4.8 mm when unfolded. As per Kuo, the phone would have a Titanium alloy casing with a hinge constructed out of stainless steel and Titanium Alloy. Beyond that, the phone would have a dual camera setup as well with a front-facing camera for both the folded as well as the unfolded state.
Changes
Some of the other changes that the phone would go through involve a Face Id authentication, instead of a Touch Id side button. These features would be skipped to ensure that the engineers are able to make more space inside the chassis to accommodate the hinge as well as other features.
As per Kuo the phone would be priced at a premium of above $2000 and even above $2500. The leaks have further alleged that Apple is aiming to finalize the specs of the first foldable iPhone during the second quarter of this year. Mass production for the phone would most likely start in fourth quarter of 2026, you can expect a launch next year or early 2027.
