It broke the heart of Karun Nair on Saturday when he was sent back to the hut on a four-ball duck after his 8-year return. Ben Stokes bowled a screamer that sent the right-handed batter to the dressing room. It was England’s Ollie Pope doing the trick. Stokes bowled a wider delivery and Nair, seeing an opening to get off the mark Nair threw his wicket at it.
He unfortunately met Ollie Pope in the short cover who took a stunner. Pope caught the ball when he was in the air. Nair had difficulty in believing anything because his dreams had been destroyed. Nair looked like his spirit had been cut out as he went back on a long walk to the pavilion.
Ollie Pope… that is OUTSTANDING! š„
A flying catch to his left means Karun Nair departs for a duck.

Meanwhile, India are in some trouble following the loss of two wickets in the row. First to lose his wicket was Gill with a brilliant 147 followed by Nair with a DUCK. Pant Registers Himself in Record Books
Rishabh Pant is another name to enter the history books making his entry on Saturday (June 21) by breaking the previous mark held by Mahendra Singh Dhoni to have the most hundreds in Test cricket as an Indian wicketkeeper-batter. Playing 90 Test matches with India, Dhoni managed to score six centuries in Test cricket whereas the currently playing India Test player of the day, Pant has scored seven centuries in Test cricket alone.
Pant became the third player in the history of cricket with three or more centuries against a specific team in a specific country in Test cricket. All these were anti-England centuries in England. The 27 year old wicketkeeper-batter got to 100 in his innings in the 146th delivery.
