About The Terror Attack

On April 22nd, a terror attack targeting Hindus occurred in Pahalgam, Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 tourists. The militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), through its affiliate Resistance Front (TRF), claimed responsibility for the attack.

Simran Chandani, a tourist from Nagpur, Maharashtra, expressed uncertainty about her chances of surviving the incident.

“We were preparing to leave after having tea and Maggi [a popular prepackaged, ready-to-eat noodle snack]” when the attack started, she said, describing Pahalgam as “mini-Switzerland”.
