Galatasaray has accused Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho of racism after a heated 0-0 draw between the Istanbul teams. Though it’s not clear which exact comments the club was referencing, Mourinho allegedly stated the home bench was “jumping like monkeys.” Furthermore, he reiterated his view on Turkey’s judges. After both teams requested for a foreign official to manage the critical match, the Slovenian Sports Ministry assigned Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic. As tensions rise, Galatasaray has taken legal action against the Spanish manager.
Galatasaray Confirms Legal Action Against Mourinho
In a official announcement, Galatasaray confirmed they would begin legal actions against Jose Mourinho for alledged statements. The club firmly condemned his behavior, stating his actions had progressed from “immoral comments” to “inhumane language.” Galatasaray declared: “Since the beginning of his managerial post in Turkey, Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has repeatedly made disparaging comments aimed at the Turkish people. Furthermore, Galatasaray declared plans to submit official complaints with both FIFA and UEFA, urging soccer authorities to take action against Mourinho.”” His rhetoric has today crossed over from just immoral remarks to clearly inhumane discourse.

Fenerbahçe Yet To Respond As Controversy Escalates

The soccer world is eagerly anticipating further progress in this famous debate as the debate becomes hotter.
