Siddharth Mallya Slams BCCI! RCB Video Takedown Sparks Furious Rant

The video was removed from Instagram which made the former RCB owner's son Siddharth Mallya questioned BCCI.

After winning the 2025-edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), the cricketing fraternity was all in praise for RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) and their elite star Virat Kohli. The former-owner of RCB, Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth Mallya too enjoyed and shared a video on Instagram, but the enjoyment video was cut short as the video was taken down by Instagram over copyright infringement.

“For some reason, Instagram decided to take the video down and proceeded to ban me from interacting on the app,” he said in the video.

“The ban was lifted yesterday. It turns out that after I got to the bottom of this, the video was brought down because IPL complained and said that I have violated their copyright police, which is absolutely nuts to me. The video was less than a minute long, and it was about me and my emotions.

It’s crazy that they took away my opportunity to celebrate and interact with fans. I am upset about it and it’s sad on the part of IPL. Such is life.” he added.

Mallya Was Emotional

After RCB won after 18 years of wait, Mallya was seen emotional was and said “Eighteen long, long years… I don’t even know what to say,” he said in the now-removed video, wiping away tears and holding back emotion.
