Man United manager Ruben Amorim has once more slammed Marcus Rashford, saying he would rather have the club’s 63-year-old goalkeeper coach, Jorge Vital, in the team than the out-of-form forward. Having been dropped for the Manchester derby in December, Rashford absent from the team for 11 straight games said he desired to find a new challenge. Although forwards Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee are having problems, Amorim insists that Rashford won’t return to the lineup except he improves his work ethic.
Amorim Stands Firm On Rashford’s Exclusion
Ruben Amorim restated his position on Marcus Rashford’s ongoing absence from the Man United team: the reason stays unchanged a deficiency of effort on the training field and dedication in daily life. Amorim stressed that his attitude applies to every player and stated that only those who always give their best on and off the field will be awarded. Notwithstanding lacking speed off the bench, the boss said he would rather have Jorge Vital, the club goals goalkeeper coach, than a player not mood every day.

Reflecting on their 1-0 victory against Fulham, Ruben Amorim, who will celebrate his 40th birthday on Monday, noted that the team has not made a whole lot of improvement in their play, but the win was crucial for development. He humorously adds that after only two months at Man United, he seems much older, jokingly claiming he is “50.” Though he is aggravated by the lack of consistency, Amorim is determined to introduce a different style of game, stressing that the team’s future will mirror his obvious vision.
