In the recent news, RCB sensation, Yash Dayal, has been charged with mental and physical abuse by a Woman in Uttar Pradesh. FIR has been filed against Dayal, and an official complaint has also reached the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath’s office, as the Woman required help from the top authority.
In the FIR, the victim, Ujjwala Singh, claimed to have been in a relationship with Yash Dayal for the past 5 years and had also been introduced to his family members. Victim approaches CM’s office for assistance
The FIR alleged that on 14 June 2025, the complainant lodged a complaint by dialing the women’s helpline number 181, but the process was not taken forward at the police station. The complainant is socially and economically helpless and thus wants justice from the Chief Minister’s Office directly. The victim has all the video calls, screenshots, and chats to substantiate the charges. She has asked the case to be heard as soon as possible, and the convict must be punished, in this instance, Dayal.
Another such case encountered by WI’s celebrated cricketer
In recent times, a West Indian cricketer, Shamar Joseph, was charged with sexual harassment by 11 Women. A girl from Guyana accused the West Indian legend of assaulting her in 2023, and the woman’s family has alleged that an effort is being made to suppress the complaint. So far, no public reaction has been forthcoming from the Guyana Police Force or the West Indies Cricket Board regarding the charges. No charges have been made, and no public release from the player.
