ICC Rankings: Australia’s Marcus Stoinis has ascended to the top position in the ICC Men’s T20I all-rounder rankings, surpassing Afghanistan’s seasoned player Mohammed Nabi. Stoinis achieved the number one spot with a rating of 231 due to his exceptional performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Following him in the rankings are Sri Lanka’s captain Wanindu Hasaranga in second place and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hassan in third. Stoinis has been a crucial asset for Australia in the T20 World Cup, significantly contributing to their smooth advancement to the Super 8 stage with his outstanding batting and bowling.

The 34-year-old Marcus Stoinis has excelled with both bat and ball for Australia in the T20 World Cup. His recent standout performance was a remarkable 2/9 spell in Australia’s dominant win over Namibia on June 12. Typically batting at the number 5 position, Stoinis has amassed 156 runs in his three innings so far. On the bowling front, he has claimed six wickets in three matches, with his best figures being 3/19 against Oman in the tournament opener.
