The Australian T20I skipper Mitchell Marsh has been impressive in this season of IPL 2025. His great power at the plate has been important and as the season ended, he became the first player in T20 history to reach 5000 runs. He missed his fifty by just 15 runs against RCB and hit it only on the very last ball of the powerplay. This season, he became just the second player to cross 600 runs after an IPL season, when he never did it before.

Mitchell Marsh has recently reached a major achievement in his career of making 5000 runs in T20 cricket. After making more that 600 runs in this IPL season. Marsh deserves the title of a key player in the LSG’s batting along side Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran. His quick fifty against RCB, earning his sixth fifty of 2021, highlighted both his regular form and ability to stay cool in big matches, a change from his earlier IPL results.

Mitchell Marsh for LSG moved into the top five and scored more than 600 runs in Lucknow. As the team batted first, Marsh made 67 off 37 balls and shared a 152-run stand with captain Pant to help LSG reach 227 for 3. Even so, RCB completed the chase with eight balls remaining and six wickets still in their pocket. It was Kohli’s 54 off just 30 balls that set Jitesh Sharma up to lead the chase for RCB later.
