The 2024 edition of IPL brought severe challenges to Mumbai Indians. Last season the team obtained the worst position in the points standings and early during the tournament their leader Hardik Pandya received negative reactions from spectators. Before IPL 2024 started Pandya announced that the franchise conducted a thorough analysis of its past year’s mistakes to solve them and reconstruct the squad for the upcoming season. The IPL has been a part of my career for eleven seasons thus bringing new fresh outlooks to every tournament.

“Our team constructed for 2025 used the lesson learnings obtained during our analysis,” he disclosed. “That’s exciting in itself. Therefore our main priority is to unify our forces while delivering our strategic plans effectively. Approval of our approach will generate numerous rewarding results ahead,” he proclaimed as he spoke. Franchise Mumbai chose the talents of Indian cricketers Deepak Chahar together with Naman Dheer and Robin Minz and Karn Sharma and Raj Angad Bawa in their selection process. Mumbai Indians added to their roster with challenging acquisitions Bevon Jacobs and two more unknown players Vignesh Puthur and Venkata Satyanarayana Raju.

“Experienced players we chose from the outset had always been included in our team selection plans. The squad maintained a complete understanding of its desired goals. Our main goal during this year was to establish a powerful bowling attack. The Wankhede stadium proves difficult for bowling at matches. Playing at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai requires experienced bowlers who possess pace and swing abilities as well as ability to create bounce because of the team’s difficulties in controlling high-scoring games there.”
