New Delhi: Rinku Singh became the hot trend on Twitter after he smoked five back-to-back sixes in the last over of the GT vs KKR thriller at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter smacked the five sixes when KKR needed 28 runs off the last five balls.
Rashid Khan’s hat-trick
Gujarat Titans’ (GT) standing in skipper Rashid Khan turned the game in host favor in the 17th over of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) chase of 205. Rashid became the first player in the 16th edition of Indian premier League (IPL) who scalped hat-trick.
The 24-years old spinner removed Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur off consecutive deliveries in the 17th over to derail Kolkata’s run-chase. In the last over the tall ask of 29 runs gave captain Rashid Khan confidence that they will be win the match easily. But there stands the man, the 25 year-old left-hand batter from Aligarh in the way of Titans.
