New Delhi: Punjab kings (PBKS) posted the target of 144 on scoreboard for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, April 9.

Captain Shikhar lone waged a lone battle to get 99 as Punjab reached fighting total. It was the one of the outing that will be remembered for long. Against the Sunrisers’ bowlers, who were hungry for the wickets and broke the batting line-up of Punjab.
But their stands the captain holding his wickets and kept visitors scoreboard running. Shikhar Dhawan played absolute one man show innings against Hyderabad in Hyderabad.

Earlier, Aiden Markram won the toss as Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to bowl against the Punjab Kings. This is the 3rd time that PBKS have lost the toss and sent out to bat first. They have won the last two and it’ll be interesting to see if they can continue the streak tonight.
