The former Indian cricket selector and player Venkatesh Prasad have targeted Pakistan with a stinging rebuke for ending ceasefire violations on 10th May, following a call for peace. Prasad’s love for his country is also clear, having also endorsed IPL suspension previously. Former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad strongly denounced the violation of the ceasefire by Pakistan calling the move despicable at it had a despicable intention that it did not have the luxury to beat India in a weak position. Through Twitter he publicly condemned this action.

India-Pakistan Tension
After Pakistan voilated the ceasefire Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that both India and Pakistan’s Directors-General of Military Operations agreed to desist from all military operations on the land, air and sea front. In his statement, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar reconfirmed the agreement and promised that India would not ease its commitment to the fight against terrorism. However, things went downhill quickly when a series of explosions flared up the red alert in Srinagar and plunged Jammu & Kashmir into darkness.
