Sanju Samson baffled with a blazing innings, in which he scored 6 fours and 9 sixes. Including a duck in the last two matches, his run of scores can’t be termed as satisfactory. Tilak Varma Scores Unbeaten Century To Share Glory With Samson

There was the contribution of Samson and also Tilak Varma, who made an unbeaten 47-ball 120 to take India to a triumphing total. Varma hit 9 fours and 10 sixes in his innings. Along with Samson, he built an unconquerable resistance against the South African bowlers. For the first time in T20I history, it was this match where two Indian players were able to score centuries in an innings at a go.

The bowling attack of South Africa had no answers to the onslaught from the Indian pair. Of the South African bowlers, only Lutho Sipamla could manage one wicket by the end of the game. South Africa could little to stop the rampant batting display by India.
