Jitesh Sharma, who stood in as the temporary leader for RCB, played an incredible game that enabled them to earn a 6-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday. RCB won the IPL 2025 match by hitting 228 runs in 11 overs, as Jitesh made 85 runs off only 33 balls. However, RCB could have seen Jitesh go, as Digvesh Rathi attempted a run-out of the non-striker during the 17th over of LSG’s second innings.
Harsha Bhogle’s Statement
“I have no problem with the umpire turning down the appeal if he thinks the non-striker was inside the crease when the bowler’s arm had crossed the point where he is expected to release the ball. I am disappointed when the spirit of the game is invoked. You play by the laws,” Harsha posted on X (formerly Twitter).
