This century in 37 balls tied Yusuf Pathan’s record for the joint-third quickest IPL tonne and stood as a new SRH fastest tonne. Klaasen’s incredible 105 off just 39 balls was also his personal best in T20 matches. During his innings, he hit nine sixes more than any SRH player has achieved before in a single IPL match, proving his impressive control and batting power.
SRH Smash Team Records As Klaasen Leads The Charge
Along with personal success, Klaasen’s explosive form helped SRH break a number of team records. He is one of only a few batsmen who didn’t open in their teams to have got more than one century in the IPL. His good work helped SRH reach 278/3 against KKR in Delhi, making it the third-highest team total ever seen in the IPL. With 19 sixes, the team broke the record for total sixes in an innings for the 2025 season. His performance in the sixth match will be one of the most recognised in the IPL.
