After winning the toss, the Lucknow Super Giants’ captain Rishabh Pant sent Gujarat Titans to come out with the bat in the first innings. The Gujarat Titans’ openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan came out with an intent today and held both ends strongly. The GT openers not only saved their wickets in the power play but also managed to trouble the LSG bowlers by scoring respective half centuries. The Gujarat Titans lost its first wicket with Shubman Gill getting dismissed on 60 runs in the 12th over and just in the next over Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Sai Sudarshan on 56 runs but both provided GT with very decent start with a partnership of 120 here at Lucknow. This opening pair has proved to be one of the most important reasons for Gujarat Titans’ campaign in IPL in the past years.
