Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the javelin throw with his best throw of 89.45 meters. The final at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Thursday saw many fouls and disqualifications, as several finalists, including Chopra, committed fouls during the event.

Chopra’s best throw, which was 89.45 meters, happened on his second attempt. He struggled with four consecutive fouls, which kept him from winning gold. His silver medal has received widespread praise and congratulatory messages from across the country.

Neeraj Chopra won silver in the men’s javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024, falling short of defending his gold medal. He achieved his best throw of 89.45 meters on his second attempt but had four consecutive fouls that kept him from winning gold.

Neeraj Chopra is now the second male athlete post-independence to win two Olympic medals in an individual event. His first and third attempts were disqualified, and he fouled on his final three attempts.

Although Chopra performed well in the qualification round with a throw of 89.34 meters, he could not surpass his season best in the final.
