England’s Barmy Army Takes Brutal Dig At Virat Kohli’s Drop Catch Off Marnus Labuschagne (See Post)

Indian batter Virat Kohli couldn't do much with the bat during the IND vs AUS 1st Test and got dismissed for a score of just 5 runs off Josh Hazlewood.

Indian batter Virat Kohli wasn’t able to do much with the bat during the first innings of IND vs AUS 1st Test. Virat was dismissed for five runs by Josh Hazlewood and the latter was expected to score runs by the Indian fans. While the Indian team was wrapped up for a score of 150 runs in their first innings, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah pushed the Aussies on the backfoot by dismissing opener Nathan McSweeney early. However, Bumrah missed out on another wicket in the same over when Virat Kohli dropped a ‘sitter’ catch of Marnus Labuschagne. The whole Indian team was ecstatic, however, it all went in vain after Virat missed out on the catch.

England’s Barmy Army Takes Brutal Dig At Virat Kohli

England’s Barmy Army which is known to support the England national cricket team took a dig at Virat Kohli’s drop catch. While replying to a video of the catch on ‘X’, Barmy Army shared a poster which showed Virat appealing for a wicket and it read, ‘Dropped It’. However, despite Virat’s drop catch, the Day 1 of IND vs AUS 1st Test 2024-25 went to the bowlers as Australia finished the day at 67/7.

Jasprit Bumrah picked up four wickets and proved out to be the major destroyer of the Australian batting lineup. Bumrah dismissed big names such as Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith. Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj whereas Travis Head got cleaned up by Harshit Rana.
