Earlier today, Manika Batra reached the quarter finals of the mixed doubles with Sathiyan Gnanasekaran against Nigeria.

Previous records of Manika Batra 

She brought three gold medals home from the 12th South Asian Games in 2016. Manika Batra is the highest-ranked female table tennis player from India. She won a historic gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2018. Batra is the first Indian to receive the “Breakthrough Table Tennis Star” at the prestigious ITTF awards in South Korea.

Manika made her place in the sporting world by shining in the Commonwealth Games 2018. She became the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in the singles event by beating Yu Mengyu of Singapore. The Table Tennis player also won the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award 2020
