India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma visited Ayodhya, where they offered prayers at the Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi, along with their family. Pictures and videos of the visit, which depict the couple taking part in rituals and offering prayers, have gone viral on social media.
During their time in Ayodhya, the duo also had a meeting with Sanjay Dutt, who is the successor of Mahant Gyan Das at Hanuman Garhi and serves as the national president of the Sankat Mochan Sena. Senior priest Hemant Das played a key role in facilitating their visit, guiding them through the darshan and religious proceedings.

The Ayodhya visit comes after the RCB vs SRH match in Lucknow on May 23, where Anushka was seen rooting for her husband from the stands Only a few weeks ago, after Virat Kohli had declared his Test match retirement at the end of a legendary 14-year stint, the couple had also gone to see Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan, demonstrating their ongoing spiritual activities.
The couple got married in 2017, Anushka and Virat share two children now daughter Vamika and their newly born son, Akaay. Recent personal and religious outings by them have again brought them to the limelight, winning praise for their humble family values and close-knit relationship.
