Marcus Stoinis (26) and Prabhsimran Singh (18) were the only two top-scorers for Punjab as the team witnessed complete batting collapse. PBKS bowlers couldn’t make much impact as they had to defend a mere total of 101 runs which RCB chased in just 10 overs.
RCB on the other hand showed all-round performance, Josh Hazlewood (3 wickets), Suvyash Sharma (3 wickets) and Yash Dayal (2 wickets) made sure they didn’t let PBKS batters score runs. In the second innings, Phil Salt scored 56 runs off 27 balls following which RCB registered a dominant win by 8 wickets and 60 balls still left. With this dominant win against Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru is now in the IPL 2025 Final which will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on June 3.
