India’s first Tennis Ball Cricket League named Legen-Z T10 League is all set to start from June 25 in Jaipur following which former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has highlighted the importance and opportunities it brings for the youngsters. The league will be conducted in a T10 format which will have 10 overs per side and it aims to bring in young talent.

It is a great concept and initiative to have something like this where the gully cricketers rubbing shoulders with legends of the game. “It is a fantastic idea and great opportunity for the guys. I was a tennis ball cricketer once and I started my cricket playing with tennis ball (playing in gully’s) few of the leather ball cricketers spotted me after. My initial days started with tennis ball. Every evening I had to play cricket especially tennis ball cricket.”

Top Cricketers In Legen-Z T10 League
The league will feature India’s street cricketers and some of the top cricketers from around the world. The league will feature big names like Martin Guptill, Aaron Finch, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Herschelle Gibbs and many more.
Legen-Z T10 League: All You Need To Know
There will be six teams and the young aspiring cricketers can register by submitting their video which is accompanied by an entry fee. From all the entries, 5000 players will be shortlisted and will be given a silver ticket. The physical trials will be held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Indore. Only 150 players will be awarded the golden ticket out of which 72 players will receive the diamond ticket and go in the auction of the Legen-Z T10 League.
