Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) faced a defeat against Gujarat Titans by 7 wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH had posted a target of 152/8 in 20 overs. Mohammed Siraj shines for Gujarat Titans and took 4 wickets. GT dominated the whole game and easily chased the target as well, courtesy Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 61, Washington Sundar’s 49 and Sherfane Rutherford’s 35.
Pat Cummins reflected on the defeat and was clearly unhappy with team’s performance.

“Was a bit skinny, but the Hyderabad wicket is a bit tough. A few early wickets and you are in the game. It didn’t spin much, there was a little dew around, but they batted really well. Their pace bowling was tough to play against today,” said Cummins in the post-match presentation.

SRH had won the toss and batting first, Hyderabad’s top order collapsed again which left the team struggling at 50/3. A quickfire 22 runs knock from skipper Pat Cummins helped set the target of 152. But Gujarat left no single chance to dominate and Mohammed Siraj was named as the Player of the Match.
