The eagerly awaited IPL 2025 final between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru may be upset by inclement weather. The Ahmedabad Meteorological Department has predicted a clouded sky with light to moderate rain over scattered places in the city on Tuesday, June 3.

“Our forecast for tomorrow indicates light to moderate rainfall in isolated areas, particularly for Ahmedabad and nearby regions. The temperature in Ahmedabad is expected to be around 37 degrees, with a high likelihood of cloudy skies,” said Arunkumar Dasane, director of the Ahmedabad weather department as mentioned by India Today
What Happens If There Is A Washout?
In case the rain keeps pouring, there is a reserve day and IPL Final will be shifted to 4 June but if it rains on the reserve day as well then the team which finished at the top of the table will be declared as IPL champions.

Weather is always a factor that comes into play as the final nears. Although Ahmedabad was chosen as a comparatively safer ground, sporadic rain could still delay or disrupt the match.
