New Zealand’s young cricketer, Rachin Ravindra, has been left distraught after a distressing injury while fielding during the second ODI against Pakistan. The 25-year-old was struck on the face while trying to catch a shot from Pakistan’s Khushdil Shah at backward square leg. It occurred in the 38th over of Pakistan’s innings when Khushdil played a sweep shot off Michael Bracewell, sending the ball to the same region where Ravindra was stationed. Unfortunately, it seemed Ravindra had lost his eye on the ball due to the lights and crashed directly into his face. He fell on the ground, bleeding, and the medical team rushed to him immediately, and took him off the field, his face covered with a towel. Everyone stunned at the ground by this incident.
Get well soon, Rachin Ravindra. đpic.twitter.com/QhJ82fxN4T
