In Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru match, RCB batted first and set a huge target of 222 for MI, but one incident that grabbed everyone’s attention was when Suryakumar Yadav’s catch was dropped.
Yash Dayal bowled a delivery to Suryakumar which left him completely confused and the ball went up straight in air, Dayal at that moment didn’t communicate it to Jitesh Sharma and ran to catch the ball. Both Jitesh Sharma and Yash Dayal went to catch the ball and ultimately collided following which Surya was saved and the catch was dropped.

Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar and Jitesh Sharma strenghened RCB’s batting and helped set a massive total of 221 following which MI tried to chase the target but fell short of 12 runs. Krunal Pandya was instrumental in RCB’s win, he took 4 crucial wickets and stopped Mumbai Indians from chasing the target. With this win, RCB conquered Wankhede stadium after 10 years and they are now on third position in the IPL points table as well.
