On February 17, Monday, the Indian Cricket team released their jersey for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. India skipper Rohit Sharma, along with Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh, presented the new jersey as they posed for the camera. What attracted major attention was the name of the host country, Pakistan, being put on their jerseys. It was a surprise for everyone as it seemed very unlikely that India would be wearing the host name.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) posted photos of Indian players collecting their ICC awards and team of the year caps prior to the tournament. In the photos, the players were dressed in their new uniforms with the official tournament logo and the name of Pakistan, the host country. There has been widespread talk that India’s jerseys will not carry Pakistan’s name but everyone was left surprised when the photos came in.
