India and New Zealand are all prepped up to play against each other in the Champions Trophy Final 2025 which will be held on March 9 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Men in Blue have already defeated the Kiwis in group stage match by 44 runs, this was because of magnificent batting by Shreyas Iyer who scored 79 runs and Varun Chakravarthy who took an excellent 5-wicket haul.
India has been in top form and secured their place in final for the third consecutive time by defeating Australia in the semifinal. In the second semifinal New Zealand defeated South Africa and booked their spot in the Champions Trophy final.

Just when India seemed on course for victory, Chris Cairns produced a heroic 102 (not out)* despite a knee injury, forging a match-winning 122-run stand with Chris Harris (46). His unbeaten knock turned the game around, sealing New Zealand’s first-ever ICC white-ball title and breaking a billion Indian hearts.
