With teams doing some heavy business in the IPL Auction 2024, many big names saw themselves get acquired by new teams.
With many of the fans thinking that all the business for the IPL 2024 season is over, there is a twist in the tale.
The big question that is still left unanswered before the IPL season is whether Rohit Sharma will be seen in the famous gold and blue in the upcoming season or not. Rumours doing the rounds on the internet also indicated a possible move for Rohit to MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings as well.
According to IPL, players can still be traded to other teams in the form of either a swap deal or an all cash signing with the trading window re-opening from December 20. However, the IPL governing council reserves the right to make the final approval on the transfer.

The trading window will remain open till one month before the season begins which can see some surprise moves take place before the action commences.

With fans disappointed about Rohit getting stripped off the captaincy, most of them are not ruling the move out just yet.
Rohit Sharma is walking shoulder-to-shoulder with former Team India skipper MS Dhoni in terms of IPL titles won and the idea of the duo playing together in the famous Yellow jersey would be the biggest news ahead of the season.
The ‘Hitman’ was replaced by former Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya as the Mumbai Indians captain and had reportedly agreed to play under Hardik as well.
