The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is all set for its season two after the inaugural season turned out to be a smashing success. This year the tournament will be ever more action-packed as two new teams have been introduced which will significantly raise the competition. There will be a total of 8 team participating with a of 520 players registered for auction.

There are 4 player categories namely – Marquee, Category A, Category B and Category C.

The participating teams for Season 2 are: North Delhi Strikers, Central Delhi Kings, Purani Dilli, West Delhi Lions, East Delhi Riders, Outer Delhi Warriors, South Delhi Superstarz, and New Delhi Tigers.

Himmat Singh (New Delhi Tigers), Rishabh Pant (Purani Dilli), Harshit Rana (North Delhi Strikers), Ayush Badoni (South Delhi Superstarz), Priyansh Arya (Outer Delhi Warriors), Anuj Rawat (East Delhi Riders), Ayush Doseja (West Delhi Lions), Jonty Sidhu (Central Delhi Kings).

DPL 2025: Can Franchise Use RTM Card?
Now that every franchise has retained their one player each, they will be entering the auction pool with a purse of INR 1.5 crore. Each franchise will only get one RTM (Right to Match) card to match the highest bid and retain their released player from the auction pool. It is important to note that the two new franchises will not have any RTM.
