Former CSK batter Ambati Rayudu has addressed the criticism he has been getting and all the hate messages he has been receiving all this while. He has gained a lot of backlash after the comments he made about his former team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Now Rayudu has replied back to his haters and mentioned that he will always be a ‘Thala Fan’.

Ambati Rayudu’s Support For CSK

Rayudu started his IPL career playing for Mumbai Indians and played eight seasons there but he has always been a passionate supporter of Chennai Super Kings where he played for six seasons and retired after winning the IPL title in 2023. In IPL 2025, Rayudu has been a part of the commentary panel and has always backed CSK despite team’s evident struggle. His unwavering support to MS Dhoni did not go well with many social media users and he received a lot of trolls and hate. Rayudu took to X (formerly known as Twitter), where he fired back at his critics.

“I was a Thala’s fan. I am a Thala’s fan. I will always be a Thala’s fan. No matter what anyone thinks or does. It will not make a one percent difference. So please stop spending money on paid pr and donate that to charity. Lot of underprivileged people can benefit.” Rayudu wrote

Netizens Call Out Rayudu’s Biasness

Rayudu tried to hit back at critics but he again faced backlash and netizens demanded that he should be removed from the commentary panel due to his bias for one specific team and player.
