Rohit Sharma immediately following the 38 -year -old twice declared his retirement from test cricket on May 7th Wednesday. Rohit made the announcement in an Instagram story, ending his glorious test career. Rohit wrote a special message on Instagram challenging his doubts just before the tour came up in England. The announcement at the opening was that it deems fit to continue with playing in India in ODI format.
“Hello everyone. I would just like to share that I am retiring from Test cricket. It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country in whites. Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in the ODI format,” Rohit stated in his Instagram story, sharing a photo of his Test cap.
