The former West Indies legend Sir Viv Richards who is also the mentor of  Quetta Gladiators endorses the Pakistan’s cricket team by predicting their comeback as an improved force beyond their current failed results. He provided positive support to the faltering cricket star Babar Azam. Pakistan cricket faces an intense period as the team struggles to perform effectively at major tournament stages. The men in green endured prolonged unsuccessful competitions spanning ICC championships and Test tests at international competitions throughout recent times. Sir Viv Richards has provided important support to Babar Azam and Pakistan cricket during their uncertain times as questions rise about their performance relevance.

“Babar Azam will soon regain his form. A king is one who rules over all. No matter how good a batter you are, everyone goes through a rough patch. This is not the first time he’s facing such a phase. Babar is a very good player. I am sure he will get back to form very soon. A king is one who rules over all. I believe when you watch players like Kohli and Babar, they appear to do justice to the game of cricket,” he said.

“Bad times come to everyone. I am confident that Pakistan will once again become a good team. I have always felt that Pakistan has been gifted with great cricketers and immense talent. All we can hope is that with time, this talent continues to shine,” he added.

Babar Azam’s Ongoing Struggle

Since the beginning of last year Babar Azam has dealt with both poor batting performance and diminished self-belief. The world once considered Babar as one of its best players but he has remained scoreless for more than three years without reaching a century which has attracted strong criticism from fans alongside retired cricketers. The international team selection committee has excluded Babar from recent ODI and T20 matches revealing ongoing difficulties in his performance.
