How Riyan Parag Missed Out on Creating History?
During the 13th over Parag sent five of Moeen Ali’s deliveries sailing over the boundary walls. After the strike rolled over Hetmyer gained one run in the first delivery of the 14th over then Parag hit his first batter to retake the batting order. After hitting a six on the first ball of the over Parag struck his sixth consecutive six from the second over with a hit against Chakravarthy.
The six sixes shot by Parag during two consecutive overs fell short of the elite record because they did not happen during a single over. Consequently, he denied himself the opportunity to become part of cricket history.
