WWE: The history of WWE has been rather long. The company has over a long period been availing sufficient entertainment to fans. India also immensely likes wrestling. It became so popular thanks to The Great Khali. Khali lifted the flag in WWE ring. Then, there are other stars that have played in WWE to display their talent, yet were not able to succeed like Khali. One can also add that they were not even listened to by the company. In this section we are going to inform you about three Indian wrestlers who had their careers ruined by WWE.
Veer Mahaan
The real name of Veer Mahaan is Rinku Singh. In 2022 Veer was acquired by Raw. He was depicted to be very powerful initially. He was in a feud with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. Everybody had to submit to Veer. People thought WWE would slate him but this was not the case. He never was given a pitch but he was not seen on television over a period of time. Veer had everything it took to establish a big name in the WWE. The firm failed to realize this though. WWE took Veer Mahaan out of the main roster and composed him at NXT.
In that place he joined Sanga to make a tag team. They were including Jinder Mahal as well. After a period, he was re-introduced into the same roster, but did not succeed because of bad booking. The case became so bad that Veer was freed in the month of April last year. To some extent one can state that WWE squandered good talent. It should be noted that, on his entry into the ring, Mahaan was dressed in a trident on his forehead with traditional Indian costume besides wearing a rudraksha necklace. Veer has left wrestling and switched to being practiced under Premanand Maharaj in Mathura-Vrindavan.
Sanga
The actual name of Sanga is Saurav Gurjar. He had all the possibility to turn out a big wrestling superstar, but WWE never got it. This made him to always overwhelm his opponents given his muscular body. He contracted to WWE in 2018. Sanga was a member of Indus Sher tag team alongside Veer Mahaan. In 2022, Gurjar was named Sanga by WWE in NXT. His personality was also changed. He then appeared to be ascending the ladder of success but this was not the case.

Sanga was also promoted by the WWE to the main roster. He demonstrated his power in the ring against Veer Mahaan and Jinder. When they released him in April, the company suffered a huge blow. WWE did not realize his talent. Promoting the singles run of Sanga would have been much helpful. After leaving WWE, Sanga has not attached himself to any company to date. His wrestling career appears to have died.
Shanky
Shanky stands 7 feet high and in WWE such wrestlers receive a lot of attention. Neither did the company use Shanky in a good manner. He plied his trade in a tag team with Jinder Mahal where he could not justify himself as a big wrestler. This was because he fell victim to the poor booking in WWE. In January 2020, WWE signed Shanky. The musical debut of Shanky was at the Superstar Spectacle 2021. In 2021 Shanky and Jinder Mahal were drafted to SmackDown. The two were both featured in the blue brand. Another product brought by the company was Shanky dancing character. But following the reign of Triple H, Shanky went off the WWE Television. WWE put out Shanky in 2023. Since that time, he was never seen in action.
