Ingredients
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1–2 tsp minced garlic
- Green onions
- 2–3 tbsp Soy sauce
- Pepper
- 1 Medium head of cauliflower
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
Step By Step Guide
Finely Chop The Cauliflowers
At first, you have to finely chop the florets from the cauliflower. Chop it into equal and small pieces.
Prepare The Batter
Moving to the next step, you have to take a medium-sized bowl, then combine flour and water to form a smooth and lump-free batter. Next, dip small cauliflower florets in the batter and coat with breadcrumbs to get a crispy texture.
Make The Sauce In Minutes
Following on to the next step, take a pan, mix the sesame oil, garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, and honey or maple syrup. Keep stirring for 2–3 minutes to get a slightly thick paste.
Preheat The Oven
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray. Now, preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Cook And Toss The Cauliflowers In The Sauce
Moving on the next, now arrange the coated florets on the greesed tray. Bake the florets for approx 20–25 minutes or until it turns golden, aromatic and crispy. Once the cauliflowers are well simmered, remove them from the oven and mix it with the sauce until well combined.
Garnish And Serve
Once you are done with the above steps, sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on the top of your dish. Serve hot with noodles, or enjoy as your perfect evening snack!
