Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Lucknow. At the event, Rajnath Singh described Operation Sindoor as a testament to India’s political will, military strength, and zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. “Today, India is one of the most powerful nations in the world. We are constantly increasing our strength. Those who were against India and the terrorist organizations that attacked our country and devastated many families, the Indian armed forces have brought them to justice through Operation Sindoor. The entire nation is today saluting the bravery of the Indian forces,” Rajnath Singh said.
At the inaugural ceremony of the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Lucknow, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh says, “It is National Technology Day today. On this day in 1998, under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, our scientists held a nuclear test in Pokhran and showed India’s strength to the world. That test was the result of immense efforts of our scientists, engineers, defence personnel and several other stakeholders.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated, “At the inauguration of BrahMos Integration & Testing Facility Center today, I am delighted to speak with you. I wanted to attend in person, but you know why I couldn’t come. Looking at the situation we are facing, it was important for me to be in Delhi. So, I am joining you via videoconferencing.”

The Defence Minister highlighted that the BrahMos facility would play a pivotal role in positioning Uttar Pradesh as a hub for advanced defence technology. He noted that BrahMos symbolizes a collaboration of cutting-edge innovations from India and Russia. Drawing a parallel with Prayagraj, renowned for its sacred confluence, he expressed confidence that Lucknow, too, would gain global recognition for this technological partnership, which he described as a unique and powerful convergence.
As quoted by Money Control, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, said, “it is among the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world. BrahMos is not just a weapon; it is a message in itself — a message of the strength of our armed forces, a message of deterrence to our adversaries, and a message of our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our borders.”
