Who Was Gopal Khemka?

Gopal Khemka was a renowned businessman from Bihar and the owner of Magadh Hospital. He is said to have been associated with many social organisations. In 2018, his son Gunjan was also shot dead in the Hajipur industrial area, in a brazen crime.

Pappu Yadav Slams Bihar Government

Khemka’s death has once again highlighted the rise in crimes in Bihar, bringing the Nitish Government under scrutiny. Independent MP from Purnea, Pappu Yadav, rushed to the spot after receiving the news of Khemka’s death. He took to X to slam the Kumar-led government, saying, “No one is safe, Bihar has become a sanctuary for criminals! Nitish ji, please spare Bihar.”

He wrote, “What comfort can I offer this child? Seven years ago, Gopal Khemka ji’s son Gunjan Khemka was murdered, and I had gone to assure them of justice. If the government at that time had not become a partner to the criminals and had taken strict action against them, Gopal Khemka ji would not have been murdered today!”
