Indian Railways is undergoing various updates, introducing new trains with enhanced facilities. One such development is the inclusion of the Vande Bharat Chair Car. These Chair Cars operate in various states across the country, making journeys more comfortable for passengers.
Additionally, as per media reports, the country is set to receive the Vande Bharat Sleeper train soon. According to an update, the train will be launched after receiving approval from the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety (CCRS). The CCRS inspection is set to commence soon, during which the technical parameters of the train will be examined.
Media reports suggest that CCRS approval could be granted this month. As quoted by ET Now, a railway official stated, “CCRS will inspect the Vande Bharat Sleeper train before its final launch.”
The trial for this was completed in January 2025. According to media reports, the train will have the following features:

- Fire Safety
- Toilets for differently abled
- Automatic Doors
- Intercommunication doors with Sensors
- Luggage Room
- Hot Shower Facility In 1st AC
- Aerodynamic Exterior Look
