A couple was arrested for allegedly live-streaming their sexual act in Telangana’s Hyderabad. The police said the couple was in need of money and found a way to raise easy money.
Man needed money to pay his daughter’s fees
According to an NDTV report, the man, an auto driver by profession, was facing health issues and needed money to pay his daughter’s fees, who is a bright student pursuing her B.tech, and his younger daughter is also meritorious.
Police arrested the couple from Mallikarjuna Nagar
The police said the man was unable to afford his medical treatment. The police arrested the couple from Mallikarjuna Nagar in Amberpet. The police seized high-definition cameras and other equipment from their residence.
Couple used face masks to conceal their identities
The police said that the couple shared their sexual act with App users for Rs 2000 of live streaming videos, while for recorded content, they received Rs 500. The police said they used high-definition cameras to make explicit content. During the act, they used face masks to conceal their identities.
The police registered a case under provision of the Information Technology Act, and launched a probe. The cops have also served notices to those who bought the content from the couple.
