The Noida Metro Rail Corporation has revealed a plan to link the Noida Airport near the Yamuna Expressway with the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. For this a the a particular metro line will be getting extended.
This development in metro will benefit the people who are commuting from Noida to Delhi. For this there is a plan to extend the Golden Route of the Metro. This will benefit the people as it will create connectivity between the upcoming Noida International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Now the Golden route links Aerocity to Tughlakabad. But this is likely to get extension by 5-Km. It will connect Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj, where it will be connecting Magenta Line at the Botanical Garden Metro Station. With this development it will become easier for the passengers who are commuting Delhi from Noida, as reported by TV9.
DMRC has requested Rs 950 crore amount from the Yamuna Development Authority for this project.
This connection of the Golden Route to the Kalindi Kunj is likely to be linked with the Magenta Line. Once this gets executed, it will enhance the connectivity.
The Botanical Garden station will become the major point in this extension. This will benefit both the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. It will make people reach Noida Airport and Delhi Airport using the metro very easily.
