According to the sources, the third meeting of I.N.D.I.A. parties to be held in Mumbai from August 31 to September 1.

“The meeting will be held on the same format as it held in Bengaluru with leaders first confabulating in an informal setting on the first day then their main meeting will take place on next day,” sources said.

“After the conclusion of the first day meeting their will be press conference and venue likely would be a hotel in Pawai,” they stated.

The opposition coalition is expected to make announcements regarding the formation of committees to handle specific tasks, including communication and planning the 2024 general election campaign in the lead-up to the polls.

Furthermore, sources indicate that a joint secretariat will soon be unveiled to facilitate improved coordination among the member parties within the coalition.

The INDIA alliance first meeting was held in Patna in June and the second in Bengaluru last month.

At the Bengaluru meeting, the name of the newly formed 26 party alliance – I.N.D.I.A – was announced by the congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge.

“A committee comprising 11 members will be set up for coordination among the opposition parties. Additionally, a convenor will be selected during the next meeting in Mumbai. The purpose of this committee is to facilitate cooperation and coordination among the different parties within the opposition alliance,” he added.

The 26 opposition parties including Congress, TMC, DMK, AAP, JD(U), RJD, JMM, NCP (Sharad Pawar), Shiv Sena (UBT), SP, NC, PDP, CPI(M), CPI, RLD, MDMK, Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi (KMDK), VCK, RSP, CPI-ML (Liberation), Forward Bloc, IUML, Kerala Congress (Joseph), Kerala Congress (Mani), Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), and the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK), are part of the I.N.D.I.A alliance.
