In an inhuman incident reported from Warangal district in Telangana, a woman was brutally beaten, stripped, and her head was forcibly shaved after being tied to a cot. As if this merciless suffering wasn’t enough, chemical was poured into her genitals as ‘punishment’ over accusations of adultery. Despite her repeated pleadings for mercy, the torture continued.
While the exact date of the incident remains unclear, disturbing videos from the village taken five days ago showed the torturous cruelty she underwent. The shocking event occurred after the woman and her alleged lover were caught days after going missing. The purported videos circulating on social media also showed the man, identified as Ravi, being assaulted at the hands of the villagers.
Reports revealed that he had been married for 10 years and has three children. He was accused of having an extra-marital affair with a married woman, a relative of his. Both disappeared 10 days before the attack. The couple were profusely searched and brought back to the village after Ravi’s wife reported her husband and the woman’s sudden absence.
As a punishment, they were tied up and brutally attacked, following which they went missing again. Warangal police have reportedly booked at least 14 people linked to the incident, while a search is underway to locate the victims, reports added.
