NEW DELHI: Co-operative Minister Shri Raaj Kumar Anand on Friday conducted a surprise inspection at the Registrar Co-operative Societies on Sansad Marg. The Minister directed the officials of the Registrar Co-operative Society to set up a Help Centre to assist the people who come to the office, and ensure that they get complete assistance in all their work. Cabinet Minister Shri Raaj Kumar Anand said that the department is constantly working to remove the lack of trust between the citizens and the officials of the RCS department. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Government is committed to providing better facilities to its citizens. The Minister emphasised that the RCS department monitors the work of the society and the aim of the staff is to remove all the problems that are being faced by the society at present. Co-operative Minister Shri Raaj Kumar Anand arrived at the Sansad Marg office of the Registrar Co-operative Society on Friday at around 12:30 pm to conduct a surprise inspection. After arriving here, he enquired about the time of arrival and departure of the staff members of the department and asked the senior officials to install a biometric system of attendance to ensure that all the staff members arrive as well as leave on time. Shri Raaj Kumar Anand also inspected some files of the department and asked the department staff to ensure that the people visiting the office are completely satisfied with the work of the department. The Minister further added that there is a lack of trust between the citizens and the officials of the RCS department and this needs to be removed through the actions of the departmental staff. The Minister also directed the officials to set up a Help Centre to assist the people who come to the office and said that people from all departments of RCS should be present at the Help Centre. Shri Raaj Kumar Anand said that he is aware that the officials in the department have been working hard and said that the creation of a proper system will bring this message out to the public at large.

Co-operative Minister Shri Raaj Kumar Anand said that the work of the RCS department is to monitor society. Efforts are also being made to solve the problems in society at the earliest. The lack of trust between society and the officers of the RCS department will also be eliminated soon. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Government is committed to providing better facilities to its citizens.
