There are various schemes run by the Indian government. One such scheme is the PM Kisan Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers have received 18 installments till now. The government provides financial aid to farmers by giving an amount of Rs 6000 in installments.
Under the PM Kisan Scheme, the central government gives Rs 6000 annually to the beneficiaries. The amount is received by them in three equal installments per year. Per installment, a farmer gets Rs 2000. Till now, the government has given 18 installments to the farmers.
As reported by Economic Times, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be releasing the 19th installment of this scheme on February 24, 2025. The amount will be directly credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
As reported by Economic Times, around 22 thousand crore will be directly transferred to the accounts of 9.8 crore farmers who are part of this scheme.
As quoted by Economic Times, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “The Prime Minister will release the 19th installment of PM-KISAN on February 24 at a function in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The amount will be directly credited to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.
