A scheme has been initiated to rent out kiosks and commercial plots at four stations of the Aqua Line Metro. Space will be allotted to those who pay higher rent. NMRC has started the process. It is being claimed that this will make it easier for people to get employment.

Dr. Lokesh M, Chairman of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), stated that over 70,000 passengers use the Aqua Metro Line every day. To enhance passenger convenience, a kiosk scheme has been introduced at Aqua Metro Line stations. Kiosk spaces are being allocated to those who pay higher fares, offering a great opportunity for individuals to start their own businesses. Dr. Lokesh M also mentioned plans to set up kiosks at all 21 NMRC metro stations, providing employment opportunities through kiosks at the Aqua Line Metro Station.

He said that kiosks have been planned at Sector-101, Depok, Pari Chowk, and Alpha One Metro stations. Officials said that commercial space will be given at Sector-81 and 83 and the Depok Metro Station. Complete information related to both these schemes has been uploaded on the NMRC website. Earlier, the NMRC has also planned kiosks at the stations of this metro line.
Numerous sources claim that this line will receive more than 100 kiosks and vending machines under a recent plan. The kiosks has crossed 18 through the allocation process. Some have also started. The officials announced that additional station kiosks will begin operation soon.
According to NMRC, under this scheme, kiosks up to 10 square meters will be given on a first-come first-served basis. The important thing is that in this process, entrepreneurs will not have to go through the tender process, but they can start their business through the easy application process. This policy has been specially made for young entrepreneurs and startups.
